Level 2 - Principles of Business Administration
Delegates will develop their knowledge and understanding of working in a business and administration environment. The course will introduce them to administrative tasks such as managing customer relationships.
Level 2 - Principles of Team Leading
Delegates will learn about the principles of team leading, develop an understanding of business and develop the knowledge needed to support communication with various levels of stakeholders.
Level 2 - Principles of Customer Service
Delegates will develop essential knowledge to carry out customer service tasks. The course covers the legal and ethical requirements relating to customer service, maintaining customer service information and understanding the relationship between good customer service and customer loyalty.
Level 2 - Retail Operations
Delegates will develop an understanding of a wide range of retail subjects, such as dealing with customers in various contexts, handling cash, stock management and retail law.
Level 2 - Information, Advice or Guidance
This qualification aims to develop delegates knowledge and understanding of the key principles of information, advice or guidance and how to apply this information.
Level 2 - Lean Organisation Management Techniques
Delegates will learn how to understand lean organisation techniques in business, know and understand business improvement tools and techniques and how to work effectively in a business team.
Level 2 - Warehousing and Storage
This qualification aims to develop delegates’ understanding of how to receive and store goods, process orders and prepare them for dispatch, check stock and update records, and learn about the importance of customer service.
Level 2 - Equality and Diversity
Delegates will learn how to promote equality and diversity in the workplace and the wider community. Delegates will gain an understanding of personal and social identities, beliefs, values, stereotyping and labelling, prejudice and discrimination.
Level 2 - Awareness of Mental Health Problems
Designed to raise the awareness of mental health and the problems that can cause mental ill-health. Delegates will learn about a range of different mental health issues ie. understanding mental health, stress, anxiety, phobias, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, dementia, eating disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder.
Level 2 - Understanding Autism
This qualification aims to develop delegates understanding of autism and the principles of supporting individuals with autism. It covers the person-centred approach and influence of positive communication methods, how to support positive behaviour and how individuals with autism can be supported to live healthy and fulfilled lives.
Level 2 - Counselling Skills
Delegates will learn how to develop their counselling skills, understand the different approaches involved in the use of counselling skills, and appreciate the importance of self-development.
Level 2 - Nutrition and Health
Delegates will learn about diet and health, different nutritions, how to prepare healthy food for different groups of people, food safety awareness and look in detail at the principles of weight management and the dangers of eating disorders.
Level 2 - Customer Service in Health and Social Care
Delegates will develop an awareness of customer service in health and social care, learn how to communicate effectively, understand the needs of customers who access health and social care services, and understand teamwork in health and social care settings.
Level 2 - The Principles of Dementia Care
Delegates will gain knowledge about caring for people with dementia. The course covers the benefits of positive communication, the issues around the use of medication for those with dementia and the importance of person-centred care.
Level 2 - Principles of End of Life Care
Delegates will develop their knowledge and understanding of working in end of life care, the support needed to manage pain and discomfort, how dementia impacts on end of life care, the role of the care worker in time of death and the loss and grief process.
Level 2 - Common Health Conditions
This qualification aims to develop the learner’s knowledge and understanding of various common health conditions and how to monitor the health of individuals affected by health conditions.
Level 2 - Safe Handling of Medication in Health and Social Care
Delegates will develop an understanding of the different types of medication and their use together with the procedures for obtaining, storing, administering and disposing of medication, and the record keeping process. Delegates will also gain an understanding of legislation and the audit process related to medication and issues of responsibility and accountability.
Level 2 - Dignity and Safeguarding in Adult Health and Social Care
This qualification aims to develop delegates’ knowledge and understanding of the key principles of dignity, duty of care and safeguarding as applied to adult health and social care. Learners will investigate the principles and how they are applied in everyday work contexts.
Level 2 - Prevention and Control of Infection in Health Care Setting
Delegates will gain an understanding of the meaning and importance of infection control and the causes of infections, the conditions in which they thrive and the ways that they can be spread.
Level 2 - Adult Social Care
Ideal for those considering a career in, or those already working in, the health sector. Candidates will be given the opportunity to investigate a work role to provide the underpinning knowledge necessary to work effectively.
Level 2 - Working with Individuals with Learning Disabilities
Delegate will develop competence in a range of areas including: working with adults with learning difficulties and supporting individuals with their physical and emotional care, daily living needs and healthcare procedures.
Level 2 - Understanding the Care and Management of Diabetes
Learn about the different types of diabetes and how these occur together with how the onset of Type 2 diabetes can be delayed with lifestyle changes. Also, learn about diabetes diagnosis, initial care, ongoing care and the treatment of diabetes used to control blood sugar levels.
