Level 2 - Principles of Business Administration
Delegates will develop their knowledge and understanding of working in a business and administration environment. The course will introduce them to administrative tasks such as managing information and supporting events.
Level 2 - Principles of Team Leading
Delegates will learn about the principles of team leading, develop an understanding of business and develop the knowledge needed to support communication with various levels of stakeholders.
Level 2 - Principles of Customer Service
Candidates will develop essential knowledge to carry out customer service tasks. The course covers the legal and ethical requirements relating to customer service, maintaining customer service information and understanding the relationship between good customer service and customer loyalty.
Level 2 - Information, Advice or Guidance
This qualification aims to develop delegates knowledge and understanding of the key principles of information, advice or guidance and how to apply this information in their own context.
Level 2 - Retail Operations
Delegates will develop an understanding of a wide range of retail subjects, such as dealing with customers in various contexts, handling cash, stock management and retail law.
Level 2 - The Principles of Good Dementia Care
Delegates will gain knowledge about caring for people with dementia. The course covers the benefits of positive communication, the issues around the use of medication for those with dementia and the importance of person-centred care.
Level 2 - Awareness of Mental Health Problems
Designed to raise the awareness of mental health and the problems that can cause mental ill-health. Delegates will learn about a range of different mental health issues ie. understanding mental health, stress, anxiety, phobias, depressing, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, dementia, eating disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder.
Level 2 - Equality and Diversity
This programme supports individuals to promote equality and diversity in the workplace and the wider community. The subjects covered are a must for any customer-facing role to enable delegates to gain an understanding of personal and social identities, beliefs, values, stereotyping and labelling, prejudice and discrimination.
Level 2 - Principles of End of Life Care
Delegates will learn how to develop their knowledge and understanding of working in end of life care, the support needed to manage pain and discomfort, how dementia impacts on end of life care, the role of the care worker in time of death and the loss and grief process.
Level 2 - Understanding Autism
This qualification aims to develop delegates understanding of autism and the principles of supporting individuals with autism. It covers the person-centred approach and influence of positive communication methods, how to support positive behaviour and how individuals with autism can be supported to live healthy and fulfilled lives.
Level 2 - Safe Handling of Medication in Health and Social Care
Delegates will develop an understanding of the different types of medication and their use, the procedures for obtaining, storing, administering and disposing of medication, and the record keeping process. Delegates will also gain an understanding of legislation and the audit process related to medication and issues of responsibility and accountability.
Level 2 - Dignity and Safeguarding
This qualification aims to develop delegates knowledge and understanding of the key principles of dignity, duty of care and safeguarding as applied to adult health and social care. Learners will investigate the principles and how they are applied in everyday work contexts.
Level 2 – Prevention and Control of Infection
Delegates will gain an understanding of the meaning and importance of infection control and the causes of infections, the conditions in which they thrive and the ways that they can be spread.
