Funding your staff development

As a well established, highly regarded training provider, Central Sussex College can access central government funds alongside specialist funding streams to support the costs involved with staff development.

To ensure that you receive maximum return on your investment, our Skills Advisers will explore all funding options and financial incentives available to you at your initial organisational and training needs analysis.

Examples of training that may be fully funded:
  • Level 2 and 3 work-based qualifications, if your employee does not hold a qualification at this level
  • Apprenticeship training for those aged 16 to 18 (although the apprentice is paid a wage)
  • Skills for Life training (for example, English and number skills)
  • Training for those facing redundancy

For employers looking to recruit new members of staff, financial support may also be available from Jobcentre Plus and the College via a range of government schemes.
