Choosing your programme

Central Sussex College’s Sixth Form campus in Haywards Heath offers you the best of both worlds - an adult learning environment and a stimulating and supportive programme. You can choose from a wide variety of academic and vocational courses and even mix the two, to create a programme of study that’s just right for you.

Level 3

If you want to study at Advanced Level, you would typically select four AS Level courses for your first year of study, and continue with these subjects in your second year to achieve full A Levels.

Alternatively, you may choose to study a Double A Level or a BTEC Level 3 Diploma, plus up to two AS Level courses in your first year.

Students following Advanced Level courses are encouraged to include GCSE English and/or Maths if they do not already hold a grade C at GCSE in these subjects. In addition, for some A Levels it is important that you have studied them at GCSE and gained at least a grade B – details are included under the course descriptions.
