Entry By: Interview and Audition
Entry Requirements:
5 A - C grades at GCSE
In order to study this course you will need to pass an audition as well as achieve the GCSE grades required.
Course Content:
A series of practical skill based units in the first year:
Mask, Movement, Acting for Television and Film, Voice, Acting Technique, Physical Theatre, Audition Technique, Devising and Rehearsing unit.
In the second year you will become a member of 'Hubbub' Theatre Company, where you will work professionally on a Christmas show which forms part of your major performance unit.
You will take a unit in Performing Arts Business and finally create a new piece of devised theatre which will be publically performed as part of a 'new works' season in 'the hub'.
