Suitable For: Students who want a nationally recognised vocational qualification in order to follow a career in one of the many areas of business. It is hoped that some students will also progress to the BTEC Level 3 in Business.

Entry Requirements:
Candidates should hold four GCSEs including English and Maths, Grade D or above, or a Level 1 qualification. Entry is subject to a satisfactory interview.

This qualification helps you to progress on to higher level qualifications such as BTEC Level 3 in Business, A Levels or straight into work. It prepares you for a range of jobs in the private, public and voluntary sectors.
Cost:
16-18 year olds will not have to pay tuition fees, awarding body registration or exam fees. However they are required to pay for other third party costs, such as books, equipment and educational trips/visits.
Students aged over 19 on the 31st August in the year in which they start their studies, have to pay tuition fees. In addition they are expected to pay awarding body registration and exam fees, other third party costs, such as books, equipment and educational trips/visits.
Some students may be eligible for a fee concession, although in most cases some element of the fees will have to be paid.
Please note: Other costs (books, uniforms, trips, materials etc) will be £100.00
