This course is suitable for those who want to learn welding or increase their existing skills using TAGS (TIG), MAGS (MIG), Oxyacetylene and Manual Metal
Arc welding. On successful completion, candidates will receive a college certificate be able to progress on to Level 2. No formal entry requirements for this
course.

Course Content:
The course covers health & safety and basic welding skills in 4 different modules:
Manual Metal Arc Welding Skills (MMA) (Level 1)
Metal-Arc-Gas-Shielded Welding Skills (MIG) (Level 1)
Oxy-Acetylene Welding Skills (Level 1)
Tungsten-Arc-Gas-Shielded Welding Skills (TIG) (Level 1)
