Course Content:
Delegates are shown how to create ASP pages within the Visual Studio.NET environment. Some programming is involved, but in the main the various tools that allow tasks to be done without coding are demonstrated. The course deals heavily with bringing in data from a database. Topics covered include The Calendar Control - Making a Connection - Using the Grid View - Using a Text Box To Query Data - Using the Server Explorer to Create a Connection - Populating a Drop Down List - Creating a Grid That Is Queried By a Drop Down Box - Creating a Data Grid that can be Edited - Creating a List Box With Manually Added Items - Creating a List Box to Contain Database Items - Feeding Items from one List Box into another - Creating User Controls.
