Numeracy Awards

Nearly every good job needs GCSE Level English or Maths. Did you know the Adult National Literacy and Numeracy Awards can give you a qualification equivalent to GCSE A*-C?

Did you also know that classes and exams are normally free?

The courses are all about the English and numbers which you need every day. If you “didn’t like Maths and English at school”, you will find these really different - practical, fun and useful, working in small groups with other adults. Classes start at entry level and go through 5 levels to finish with level 2 (GCSE equivalent A*-C).

You will be working in small groups with other adults and with sympathetic, experienced tutors.

Adult Numeracy and Literacy classes

Do you need to do any of the following in your job?

• Measuring
• Sending out quotes
• Writing to suppliers or customers
• Checking invoices
• Writing a complaint
• Checking bank statements
• Working out discounts
• Taking down notes.

If you sometimes have difficulty with any of these, we can help.
