The Apprenticeship programme enables you to work towards a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ). Amongst others, the following units will be covered:

- Shampoo and condition hair
- Perm & neutralise
- Setting and drying hair
- Salon reception duties
- Cutting techniques

As well as working on the theoretical aspects of Hairdressing, you will be given the opportunity to participate in practical sessions which will lead to assessments for which you will be responsible for arranging models.
The NVQ Level 3, as part of the advanced apprenticeship, is suitable for hairdressers with relevant salon experience wishing to extend their knowledge and prepare for a more senior position. The optional units within the NVQ level 3 will cover more complex styling techniques.
