Course Content:
This course provides an introduction to the Unix and Linux operating systems. It covers introduction to the Unix family, interacting with the system, managing files and directories, interactive use of shells, using shell script files, using standard utilities ie vi, grep, sed, awk, head, tail, wc etc. The course is aimed at user and application specialists, or anyone aiming to working as a system, network or database administrator on a Unix or Linux platform.
