Qualification:
Apprenticeship - NVQ diploma Level 2, award/certificate in Hospitality & Catering principles, functional skills at level 1 (unless exempt) and Employment Rights and Responsibilities.
Advanced Apprenticeship – NVQ diploma Level 3, knowledge based certificate/award dependent on pathway chosen (see course content, below); functional skills at level 2 (unless exempt) and Employment Rights and Responsibilities.
Duration: 1 to 2 years for each level of Apprenticeship

Start Date:
September for those wishing to attend the day release programme.
Flexible start dates for those wishing to achieve the qualification in the workplace
Suitable For: People working in the Hospitality Sector.
Entry By: Interview
Entry Requirements:
Working within an appropriate hospitality environment that enables candidate to meet the requirements of the qualification.
Course Content:
The following qualifications are available as part of the Apprenticeship, dependant on your role within the Hospitality Sector:
NVQ diploma Level 2
- in Professional Cookery
- in Food Production and Cooking
- in Food and Beverage Service
- in Hospitality Services
- in Housekeeping
- in Front of House reception
- in Kitchen Services
The following qualifications are available as part of the Advanced Apprenticeship, dependant on your role within the Hospitality Sector:
NVQ diploma Level 3
- in Professional Cookery
- in Hospitality Supervision & Leadership
Outcome of Course and Progression:
Successful learners will be awarded an Apprenticeship/ Advanced Apprenticeship in Hospitality
Cost:
Fully funded for 16-18 year olds, employer contribution for 19+ employees.
