Course Content:
The Level 3 NVQ diploma, as part of the advanced apprenticeship, is suitable for hairdressers with relevant salon experience wishing to extend their knowledge and prepare for a more senior position. The optional units within the level 3 NVQ diploma will cover more complex styling techniques.
As well as working on the theoretical aspects of Hairdressing, you will be given the opportunity to participate in practical sessions which will lead to assessments for which you will be responsible for arranging models.
Outcome of Course and Progression:
Successful candidates will be awarded an Advanced Apprenticeship in Hairdressing and may wish to progress on to the Higher Professional Certificate in Technical Salon Management.
Cost:
This programme is fully funded for 16-18s, however there is an employer contribution for 19+ learners.
Candidates must supply their own tools and wear protective clothing and suitable shoes in the Hairdressing Salon.
