Must be employed within a salon.
Course Content:
To have a successful career in Beauty Therapy you will need to start work within a salon and train towards becoming a therapist. You will need to gain both practical skills and a recognised qualification and an Apprenticeship will allow you to achieve both.
As well as working on the theoretical aspects of Beauty Therapy, you will be given the opportunity to participate in practical sessions which lead to assessments for which you will be responsible for arranging models.
Attendance for Functional Skills is compulsory.
Outcome of Course and Progression:
Successful completion allows progression on to the Level 3 Beauty Therapy or the Advanced Apprenticeship in Beauty Therapy.
Cost:
This programme is fully funded for 16-18s, however there is an employer contribution for 19+ learners.
Candidates will need to supply their own tools and must wear suitable clothing and footwear in the Beauty Salon.
