Savings on electrical short courses

Electricians feeling the pinch can benefit from cut-price courses at Central Sussex College, thanks to a new stream of funding.

Specialist short courses are being offered to eligible companies at half their usual price, with some down to just £50. These savings, which will be available for a limited time, are due to funding from the Skills for Technology project.

Dean Wynter, Director of the Faculty of Construction at Central Sussex College, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for those in the trade who need to update their regs, and if they act now they could save themselves hundreds of pounds.” Some of the courses being offered at half price include 17th Edition Wiring Regulations, Design and Verification and Inspection, Testing and Certification. There are also several one day City and Guilds courses available for just £50, including Building Regulations, Portable Appliance Testing and Energy Efficiency.
