If you've ever thought of taking on an apprentice, now is the time to act.

From now until October 2010, companies taking on an apprentice who is aged between 16 and 18 and currently not in education, employment or training will receive a training grant worth £1,500.

This fantastic offer is open to companies in any sector who employ less than 250 people. It is also being offered on a first come, first served basis - so don't miss this opportunity to enhance your workforce in time for the economic recovery.

As one of the largest apprenticeship training providers in Sussex, managing over 700 apprentices, Central Sussex College's experienced team can access this funding on your behalf, and support you in recruiting and training an apprentice.

Central Sussex College can advertise vacancies through its Job Shop, and has access to the National Apprenticeship Service's vacancy matching service, which provides a wider pool of potential candidates ready and able to start an apprenticeship scheme.
