Plumbers and construction workers will be offered a free bacon butty while they chat to representatives from Central Sussex College about opportunities to enhance their skills.

For two days in June, staff from the College's Employer Services team will be giving customers at Travis Perkins and City Plumbing the opportunity to find out more about short courses, funding their training or taking on an apprentice. Staff will also be handing out bacon butties and hot beverages to visitors to their stand.

Peter Bailey, Skills Adviser for Construction at Central Sussex College, said: "We know people in the trade are busy, so we are giving them a chance to find out how we can help them without taking any time from their day. From short specialist courses to apprenticeship training, we're well placed to help those in the building industry update their skills or increase their trade."

Central Sussex College will be at City Plumbing in Crawley from 7.30am to 1pm on Tuesday 15th June, and at Travis Perkins in Faygate on Wednesday 16th June between 7.30am and 1pm.
