New apprenticeships are providing on the job training for accountants and purchasing and supply professionals
Two new apprenticeships are now available at Central Sussex College.
The Intermediate and Advanced Apprenticeships in Accountancy and Purchasing and Supply are available to new or existing employees of any age.
The Purchasing and Supply Chain Management Apprenticeships are available at levels 2 and 3. The one-year Level 2 course is an introductory course for those who are new to purchasing and supply, or those who have limited purchasing responsibility. The Level 3 Purchasing and Supply Management Apprenticeship is for those who contribute to the management of supply chain activities.
The Intermediate Accountancy Apprenticeship leads to an AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting, and is suitable for accounts assistants, cashiers, credit control clerks, purchase ledger clerks or sales ledger clerks. The Advanced Accountancy Apprenticeship is ideal for trainee accounting technicians or assistant accountants and leads to an AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting. Both allow candidates to learn industry relevant skills on the job and achieve internationally recognised qualifications while spending little time away from the workplace.
A further new qualification, the Careers Information and Advice Diploma (Level 4), provides accredited professional development opportunities for those working in the new Next Step Service and voluntary service signposting roles, and for those providing careers advice, information, employability support and signposting as part of a broader role.
For further information on any of these qualifications, call Goldie Sogan on 0845 155 0043 (press 4).
