Learning Difficulties and Disabilities
Many people who have gained few or no qualifications or experience in full-time education may require additional or discrete educational provision supported by specialist staff. Central Sussex College offers students with learning disabilities the chance to extend their education in an informal and friendly environment.
It is College policy to integrate students with learning difficulties, wherever appropriate, into educational programmes and to encourage them to play an active role in the social and recreational activities of the College.
We aim to make life at Central Sussex College accessible to everyone and we specialise in offering in-house support for students who have impaired sight or hearing, are dyslexic, or are recovering from a long illness.
The College publishes an annual Disability Statement which can be obtained by contacting Customer Services.
