Equality & Diversity Policy
Policy Statement
Central Sussex College is committed to the promotion of equality and diversity, and the pursuance of non-discriminatory policies and practices, for students, staff, job applicants and visitors.
In particular, no individual should receive less favourable treatment or suffer disadvantage on grounds of gender, age, disability, sexual orientation, ethnic origin, colour, culture, religious beliefs, or marital status.
The College is committed within the current legislative framework and good practice, to seek to redress all forms of disadvantage, in recruitment and selection, employment and training.
In the context of equality and diversity, the College will serve the
learning needs of the whole community. It will strive to be customer-focused
in terms of accessibility, relevance and flexibility of all opportunities
and services, and in the standards of customer care and service quality
adopted for both internal and external customers.
