Learning Resource Centres

Both the Crawley and Sixth Form Haywards Heath campuses offer well-equipped Learning Centre and Library facilities.

Crawley Learning Resource Centre (LRC)

The Crawley campus has an attractive and well-equipped LRC, providing space for quiet study and research. Well-stocked with up-to-date books, the LRC also offers a wide range of e-books, e-resources, newspapers, journals, DVDs and audio resources. Our experienced and trained staff can help you research and make the most of the resources available. Crawley students can also borrow resources on inter-library loan from the Sixth Form Haywards Heath Library.

The LRC also provides computers with access to the internet, colour scanning, laser and colour printing facilities and colour photocopying – all that you need to produce top quality assignments and projects. All 47 computers are loaded with Microsoft Office and a range of other programs.

LRC staff can also check your computer login details, add credit to your print account, and issue your College ID.

Sixth Form Haywards Heath Library

The Sixth Form Haywards Heath campus has an attractive and well-equipped library, providing a quiet space for study and research. Well-stocked with up-to-date books, all ordered on request from teachers or students, the Library also offers a wide range of e-resources, current newspapers, magazines, journals, DVDs, streamed video and audio resources, as well as photocopying, laminating and binding facilities. All loans are free of charge and DVD viewing is available on all the Library’s networked PCs.

You can search the Library catalogue over the internet, or come in and talk to skilled and experienced library staff who will help with research. Sixth Form Haywards Heath students can also borrow resources on inter-library loan from the Crawley campus LRC.

Sixth Form Haywards Heath Learning Centre

The Learning Centre at our Sixth Form Haywards Heath campus provides computers, colour photocopier, colour scanning, laser and colour printing facilities and access to the Internet – all that you need to produce top quality assignments and projects.

There are more than 50 computers available for your use throughout the day, and staff are always available to help you make use of the resources. We can add printing credit to your account, reset your password or print out a new ID card for you. We help with day-to-day IT enquiries and problems.

Digital cameras, headphones and memory sticks can also be borrowed.
