Further Education
EU (including UK) Students Under 19
Home-based learners aged under 19 on an agreed programme of further education, who are eligible for LSC fee remission will not be charged for their tuition, awarding body registration, or examination fees but will be expected to pay for other specific third party costs such as books, equipment, educational visits/trips and for the re-sit costs of any examinations.
EU (including UK) Students Over 19
Students aged 19 or over on 31 August on full-time courses have to pay tuition fees, awarding body registration and examination fees, other third party costs, such as books, equipment and educational trips/visits and the College administration fee (currently £60).
Tuition Fees Remission (currently under review)
Tuition fees remission is available to further education students on full-time courses and some on part-time courses, who are in receipt of a means tested benefit such as Job Seekers Allowance or Employment Support Allowance. There are some part-time courses which do not attract remission from tuition fees, including all Higher Education courses.
If you are in hardship and need assistance with paying your fees or other course costs, you may be able to get help through the College's Discretionary Support Fund.

Car Parking
Central Sussex College provides a limited amount of car parking for students. However, as the overall student population has grown, the number of students bringing cars to College means that parking on campus is often difficult. The policy of both central and local government is to discourage the use of motor vehicles in town centres, and information about travel concessions and public transport is available from Student Support to help students find alternative ways of travelling to and from College.
