Corporation Members - Paul Harding

Paul Harding is a chartered engineer working as a senior manager within the rail projects and renewals sector.

Having helped guide part of the old British Rail organisation through first privatisation and then acquisition, he has a good understanding of change management. Paul’s experience covers a wide range of topics including property, compliance, IT, operational management, risk management and skills development. He is also a member of the City Growth Heart of South London Strategy Board.

Paul is one of the original members appointed to the Central Sussex Corporation having previously been a member of Crawley College Corporation. In that role he was Chairman of the Finance and Operations Committee and was an active member of the project teams advising on the development of the main Crawley campus, East Grinstead and Burgess Hill.

Paul is a member of Central Sussex College’s Resources Committee and the Governance and Search Committee, and Chair of the Crawley Local Community Board. He is Chair of the team advising on future property developments for the new College.

Born in the Midlands, Paul moved to Sussex in 1980 and lives with his family in the Horsham area.
