Funding your course

Fundign Support

UK students applying for HND, foundation degrees or degree courses should apply for support with fees via the Student Finance England service. Visit www.direct.gov.uk for more information or contact Student Support on 01293 442204.

Access to Learning Fund

If you experience financial difficulties during your higher education course, or you find yourself facing additional costs while completing it, you may be eligible for help from the College’s Access to Learning Fund. This provides help for students on a low income who may need extra financial help during their course to stay in higher education. Please call 01293 442204 for further information

Student Loans

These are available to students to help meet their living costs while they are studying a higher education funded courses.  To check whether the course you are interested in qualifies, please contact Student Support on 01293 442204. Interest on these loans is linked to inflation only. You should apply through Student Finance England. Visit www.direct.gov.uk/studentfinance for further information.

Non-UK EU Students

If you’re a student from another EU country, you can apply for financial help towards the cost of studying in England, Northern Ireland or Wales. Help may also be available if you’re a migrant worker from an EEA (European Economic Area) country or Switzerland, or if you’re the child of a Turkish worker in the UK. Help with travel costs

For students under 19 years of age whose parents/carers are on a low income and/or benefits, help with travel costs may be available. For more information contact your local education authority. West Sussex Local Education Authority can be contacted on 01243 777276.

Fee Spread

The College can offer a fee spreading arrangement for students who are self-funding their course (eg not being sponsored by their employer or using a Student Loan to cover their fees).
