Help and Support for Foreign Students

We can offer advice on visa application before you apply and on extending or renewing visas during your studies.

You will be offered support on all aspects of life in the UK during your stay, including:

• Admissions from abroad and once here, queries relating to Higher Education
• Letters for visa applications
• Certificates for registration/attendance
• Information on the social/cultural programme and local leisure facilities
• Information about living in Sussex
• Information on places of worship
• Help with completing student visa extension forms

If you have any personal issues which you wish to discuss, our trained counsellor is available to give free and confidential help.

Careers

Our careers advisers can offer help on choosing the right Higher Education course or on progressing your career in the UK. We can also help you to translate your qualifications to the English equivalent.

Welfare & Advice

The College has an International Welfare Student Advisor to help with all aspects of your stay. This includes immigration advice and help with extension of visas.

We aim to make your stay a happy and successful one.

We provide a first class service to all our International Students, from application to completion of your course.

Social Programme

Our International Students regularly comment on how friendly the College is and how many friends they have made. We know that you have come here to study but you will also want to have fun, learn about the UK and other cultures and make friends.

The College has a Pastoral team who run a regular programme of trips and activities throughout the year. In the past this has included parties, quiz nights, and trips to places of interest.

The college also has a Student’s Union which offers recreational facilities throughout the year such as football, cricket and ten pin bowling teams.
