Central Sussex College was awash with denim on Friday 2nd October as staff raised £150.00 for Jeans for Genes Day 2009.
Staff from the College's Crawley, Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill and East Grinstead campuses donned their favourite pair of jeans for the day to show their support for the charity Jeans for Genes.
Jeans for Genes aims to change the world for children living with genetic disorders. Genetic disorders affect 1 in 33 children born in the UK - the equivalent of around one in every class of schoolchildren.
The money raised by Central Sussex College will help the charity fund care and support for children and their families, as well as research into the causes and cures of these conditions.
