Triple celebration for Central Sussex College students!

Students from the Faculty of Training Solutions receive their certificates

October has been a month for celebrating achievement as certificates were presented to successful students from three of the faculties based at the Crawley campus.

The Faculty of Training Solutions was first to host their ceremony, which took place on 14 October in Le Cordon Vert restaurant. Four categories of award were presented at the ceremony; Diploma in Fashion Retail; Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) Certificate in Training Practice; CIPD Certificate in Personnel Practice; and CIPD Leadership and Management (Licentiate).

Jeremy Stanton, Faculty Director welcomed students and their families, and Principal Russell Strutt presented the successful students with their certificates. Richard Hewitt, Membership Advisor for the CIPD was also in attendance to present students who had achieved CIPD a qualification with their award, alongside the Principal.

The Civic Hall in Crawley was the venue for the Faculty of Foundation Learning Awards ceremonies on 21 October. The Pre-Entry Programme Awards event consisted of two presentations, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon. Family and friends gathered to see the successful students receive course certificates and special prizes for their efforts.

Also on 21 October, was the Awards Evening for Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and Certificate in Education (DTLLS) courses, which took place in the Longley building at the Crawley campus. Successful students and their guests were welcomed by Graham Crozier, Curriculum Team Leader, and presented their awards by Joanne Wright, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education), University of Sussex.
