Staff and students in the pink!
09/11/2009

Staff members looked pretty in pink for the day!
Staff and students showed their support for Breast Cancer Campaign's 'Wear it Pink', to mark the end of National Breast Cancer awareness month. The event was held on Friday 23rd October, a week before the official date, in order to maximise participation before the start of the half term break.
An array of pink clothing was sported by both staff and students, male and female, who made a donation at one of the collection points located at the college's four campuses.
In addition to wearing it pink, students from the Faculty of Service Industries at the Crawley and East Grinstead campuses 'Painted it Pink' by offering a nail-painting service in return for donations, as well as holding a raffle.
Just short of £200 was generated for Breast Cancer Campaign, and each research project funded by the charity brings us a step closer to beating breast cancer.
