Top day for high flyers!

Travel and Tourism students at the Virgin Atlantic training centre
Students from First year National Award in Travel and Tourism got a taste of life at a major airline recently, with a day at Virgin Atlantic's state-of- the-art training centre, The Base.
The tailor-made day on Customer Care covered Virgin's Atlantic history and their six key elements in customer service, as well as allowing students to experience many aspects of day-to -day customer service practices at the airline.
Students had the opportunity to experience service in Economy, Premium Economy and First Class cabins which they thoroughly enjoyed and proved an excellent way of underpinning knowledge taught in class as part of their unit on customer care.
After the visit, the Virgin Atlantic trainers commented that the students had been the most professional in dress and behaviour of all the college groups they had seen, which made Course Co-ordinator Phaedra Pelosi very proud!
