Saturday 30 January 2010 saw two learners, Ben Anderson and Ton Somkraisri from the Faculty of Foundation Learning join College staff Andrew Bull (Catering Services Manager) and Iain Dickson (Tutor) to watch Crystal Palace FC v Peterborough United at Selhurst Park. The arrangement was set up by Andrew Bull to allow two students from the Faculty of Foundation Learning to go and see all of Crystal Palace's home games up to the end of the season, free of charge.
Ben and Ton really enjoyed the game, which Palace won 2-0, and hope to go again later in the season.
Iain Dickson is thrilled to be able to give students from the College this opportunity, adding "We are hoping to take all of the learners who have said they would like to go, to see at least one match before the end of the season." Other staff members have also volunteered to take learners along to future home games, allowing other learners to get the chance to watch a game before the end of the Football Season.
