Crawley campus Media Festival

The advertising campaign was designed by the students
Students based at the Crawley campus studying for their Creative and Media Diploma, have been working on a project to arrange their own Festival since February of this year, and this month saw the long-awaited event take place.
The group, have been involved in every aspect of planning and design for the project, including arranging the venue, designing a logo, planning the line-up and exhibits and organising the promotional activity including posters and a facebook campaign. Chris Beer, Course Leader for BMIT at the Crawley campus set up a blog for the project, which meant he could post requirements for the projects directly to students, and they were able to track the progress of the project from the research and planning stage, right through to post-event evaluation.
Although the Festival took place on a much smaller scale than had been originally planned, the Creative and Media Festival was hailed a success, with the video installations and displays attracting a good number of visitors.
