Many students achieved extra AS levels in their first or second year in addition to this year's results, and overall students studying AS levels achieved a 87.4% pass rate, with 61.5% of passes an A-C grade, which is 2.4% above the national average for A-C grades at AS Level.
Dr Alex Burford, Vice Principal of the campus, said, "I'd like to express my congratulations to all students and staff at the College, as they've worked extremely hard to achieve these results. Results for the Level 2 vocational courses offered at the College, which are due to be published next week, are also expected to mirror these positive results.
Courageous student Angela Baker, 18, from Haywards Heath has overcome a debilitating back complaint this year to achieve the grades she needed for her first choice university. Angela, who was bedridden for several weeks throughout the year, and left walking on crutches at other times, was thrilled to have secured a place at Chichester University this September to study a degree in Business and IT Management. Curriculum Area Leader for Business and Diploma Development, Val Kennedy, who was Angela's ICT Teacher, praised Angela's achievements, saying "Angie, who is always cheerful and positive, is to be congratulated for her hard work and commitment to her studies during this difficult year. I am so pleased that she has done so well and will be off to Chichester in September."

Eighteen year old Victoria Denny achieved two A* grades an A and a Distinction at Level 2 in the Pre-University Global Perspectives and Independent Research course, Molly Went, 18, achieved three A grades plus an A* in Chemistry, which she will be studying at Oxford University this October.
