Phoebe's hard work during her apprenticeship has earned her a Proskills award nomination
Central Sussex College apprentice Phoebe Stockdale is one of three apprentices shortlisted for the Proskills Apprentice of the Year Award.
Assistant Manager Phoebe, 21, completed her Advanced Apprenticeship in Customer Service with the support of Central Sussex College and her employer, Kall Kwik.
Phoebe was nominated for the award in recognition of the impact she has had on the business since joining in 2008. Her apprenticeship training has enabled her to rise through the ranks, providing her with industry-relevant skills and increased confidence in handling day to day production and clients.
Company Director Barry Cool explains; "Phoebe is knowledgeable, easy to deal with, efficient and delivers on promises. To be promoted to join an experienced creative team at such a young age and without a degree in graphics is truly an achievement in itself."
Phoebe, from Horsham, secured her apprenticeship through the College's Job Shop which matches potential apprentices with relevant vacancies in the region. She has made the final three despite Proskills receiving hundreds of entries from across the UK for the awards which celebrate the work of outstanding individuals and companies in the process and manufacturing sector.
Comedian Terry Alderton will present the prizes at the Proskills awards ceremony, which will take place at Alton Towers on Thursday 3rd November.
