Careers Advisers are available to help you plan your future progression. They will provide you with impartial advice and guidance about employment and apprenticeship opportunities, continuing on in Further or Higher Education or taking a Gap Year. Connexions Careers Advisers also visit the College regularly.

- Group sessions
- Preparation for Employment - Interview tips, help with application forms, CV’s and job searching
- Preparation for Higher Education - Help choosing univeristy courses, applying to UCAS, writing personal statements and student finance
- Visits to local Universities and Careers Fairs
Haywards Heath Only
Students considering applying for Oxford or Cambridge Universities, or for Medicine, Dentistry or Veterinary Science, have the opportunity to join the College’s Extension Programme. The aim of the programme is to further develop more able students, who may have high flying careers in their sights. You will be encouraged, through a series of lectures and workshops, to think more critically and to explore ethical and moral issues. In addition they will have the opportunity to benefit from:
- Advice on making applications
- Interview practice
- A range of external courses and events to broaden their knowledge and provide essential background information

Aimhigher
The College works in partnership with Aimhigher Sussex to raise students’ awareness of, and aspirations towards, Higher Education. If you are the first in your family to consider applying to Higher Education you could benefit from additional information and activities provided by Aimhigher, such as visits to local universities, subject-specific taster days and summer schools.
