Personal Advisers

Every full-time student at Central Sussex College has a dedicated Personal Adviser to help with course and non-course issues. They help:

  • To find out how you are getting on with your course and check attendance
  • To talk about which course or career you plan to do next
  • To chat about any problems you might have with family or friends

The Personal Adviser will expect to see their full-time students at least once a term and will also be available for any emergency issues that arise throughout the year. All students can drop in to Learner Services or phone to make an appointment with a Personal Adviser.

The College also expects that if you're going to be absent from class, you inform your Personal Adviser as soon as possible who will pass the information on to your tutor.

You can reach your Personal Adviser by calling 01293 453430/437/436/428 between 8.30am and 7.30pm Monday-Thursday and 8.30am and 5.00pm on Friday during term-time.
