The Hub Theatre

The Hub Theatre mirrors a professional working theatre environment, using the latest industry-standard technology to provide students with an outstanding theatre space in which to perform.

Its patron is the acclaimed actress, Lesley Manville, who has appeared in numerous stage, TV and film roles. Lesley regularly visits The Hub to take part in workshops and Q&A sessions with students.

Roland supplied the sound system for The Hub which features a breakthrough mixing solution and uses the latest audio digital technology based on Roland Digital "Sound Snake", system being used for the likes of the Electric Proms and Glastonbury.

Stage Electrics, the company who installed the technical equipment in The Hub, designed the technical elements to adapt to the abilities of the user, and the infrastructure to allow the venue to adapt and shape to the needs of the performance. Whether the venue hosts a Shakespeare play in the round or an all standing, end on, rock concert, The Hub can seamlessly change its setup, allowing for a full technical foundation in every scenario.

The Hub can seat 220 and alongside this there are two rehearsal studios and two dance studios.
