Apprenticeships

An Apprenticeship can be an exciting alternative to full-time study and means you can earn a wage while getting on the job experience and a recognised qualification.

Central Sussex College offers Apprenticeships across a range of sectors and our specialist advisers can help you to search and apply for the latest vacancies.

Some students take on an Apprenticeship directly from school, while others choose to study a full-time course in the subject area first, gaining some practical skills and theoretical knowledge before taking their next step.

Apprenticeships at Central Sussex College are offered at Intermediate, Advanced or Higher level, depending on your qualifications and experience. You’ll usually spend 4 days per week working and one day in college learning the theory side of the job and securing maths and English qualifications if you do not already have them.
